I’m excited about all the new programming we are currently planning (children’s and outreach).  I think the residents of Paso Robles are going to be blown away by all the new programming come their way.

Job Title
Outreach Services Librarian

As the Outreach Services Librarian, I coordinate the Library’s efforts to reach out to the community and bring services beyond the downtown library to all areas of the City and to all residents. This includes things like: setting up pop-up libraries that allow community members to sign up for a library card and/or check out library materials at locations near them like parks and neighborhood gathering spaces; sharing and delivering resources and materials with local organizations like schools and senior centers; delivering books to those who are homebound or unable to travel to the library; participating in community events; hosting library events in other areas of the City outside of the library; partnering with organizations that support literacy, learning, community engagement and enrichment.

I hope that everyone gets to check out our Mobile Library or “library on wheels” when we acquire and drive around the City of Paso Robles’s first bookmobile!
